brands. What do we mean when we use the term ‘branding’?
Branding is simply a word for something we all know and act
on intuitively. When we meet someone, buy a product, visit a
town or choose music, we are often doing so because we are aware
of what that particular person, place or thing has to offer.
We know what the message is and we are aware of what that message
will do to effect us in certain ways. We are, in a sense, familiar
with the ‘brand’. So when we talk about your religious
organization’s visual identity, image or message, we are
referring to what many people call a ‘brand’.
